Getting Started with BLTN: Agency Onboarding Guide
Overview
Welcome to BLTN—Multitude Insights' AI-powered bulletin platform built for speed, collaboration, and clarity.
This guide outlines the key steps your agency needs to complete for a successful onboarding experience, from IT setup to kickoff preparation.
Step 1: IT & Access Setup
To ensure a seamless experience, complete the following IT checklist:
Network & Security
- Whitelist the BLTN platform and subdomains: http://bltnapp.com
- Whitelist emails from:
- @multitudeinsights.com
- @bltnapp.com
- Confirm BLTN emails do not land in junk or spam folders
Browser Access
- Test access to http://bltnapp.com on your agency’s default browsers
Mobile Devices
- Confirm the BLTN application has been pushed to all agency-issued mobile devices
Email Client
- Provide the name of your agency's email client
IT Point of Contact
- Provide the name and contact info for your IT point of contact
Step 2: Single Sign-On (SSO) Integration
If your agency requires SSO, please provide:
- SSO Type: Google, Azure, or Other
- Protocol: SAML or OIDC
- Connection to your SSO team
Step 3: Agency Bulletin Materials
To enhance BLTN’s functionality for your agency, please share:
- Your ORI#
- MS Word templates of each bulletin type (e.g., ID Wanted, BOLO, Officer Safety)
- A PNG image of your agency badge or patch
- 3–6 months of previous bulletins (.zip format preferred)
Step 4: Kickoff Call & Rollout Planning
Once Steps 1–3 are complete:
- Multitude Insights will schedule a Kickoff Call
- We'll discuss any technical integrations, training needs, and agency goals
- A Rollout Calendar will be finalized based on your readiness and staff availability
